2013 NASDCTEc Spring Meeting Sponsorship Opportunities

NASDCTEc is pleased to extend an invitation for your organization to serve as a sponsor of our 2013 Spring Meeting in Washington, DC at the Omni Shoreham. The meeting will take place April 15-17, 2013. We hope you are able to join us.

In keeping with our collaboration with the Office of Vocational and Adult Education of the U.S. Department of Education (OVAE), we are coordinating on program content and are excited that OVAE will be hosting the meeting at the U.S. Department of Education on April 17 to continue critical presentations and discussions. All meeting functions will take place at the Omni Shoreham on April 15 and 16.

Hotel rooms should be reserved at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, for all meeting days.

We have crafted a program that will bring together leading policymakers, Congressional representatives, and researchers to share with our attendees, hear from them and for all of us to learn together. There will be a blend of plenary sessions and breakouts sessions and opportunities for informal learning and networking. For sponsors, the ‘face time’ is invaluable.

If you are interested, studio opportunities are offered on April 15 and 16. There are two cozy meeting rooms available and they cost $500 each day in addition to your sponsorship fee. These rooms will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

For those of you who may be joining us for the first time, what is a studio? A ‘studio’ is an opportunity for sponsors to hold small meetings during our meeting. Platinum and diamond level sponsors would be eligible for a ‘studio.’ Attendees will schedule an appointment with a sponsor in their ‘studio.’ The appointments can be made either before the meeting (which we strongly encourage) or on-site. We will send out an electronic communication to the membership inviting them to schedule an appointment in the studio. You will need to submit an invitation for us to send out on your behalf. We believe the studio will allow sponsors more focused meaningful interaction with meeting participants.

Thank you again for your partnership and consideration of this invitation. We look forward to seeing all of you in Washington, DC.
